The choir is well-known for our varied programmes mixing the well-known with new contemporary music, choir-only a cappella with rousing audience carols, and this Christmas will be no exception.
This evening’s programme introduces several new pieces to the Vasari repertoire, including the haunting “A spotless rose” by Royal Wedding composer Paul Mealor, a world premiere of a new carol by Matthew Wood, and brings back some traditional old favourites, including a work by our very own Music Director, Jeremy Backhouse.
