Ever wanted to join the Vasari Singers and find out how the choir creates its unique sound and musical interpretation?  Ever wanted to get inside one of the finest a cappella choral works of the 20th Century? Then come along to the 3rd Vasari Singers come and sing choral workshop!

Following the success of our two previous come and sing days (Bach B Minor Mass, and Bruckner Mass in E), Vasari Singers will hold our 3rd workshop this September.

This year, the repertoire for the day includes Vaughan Williams’ Shakespeare Songs, and a piece which is central to the Vasari Singers’ experience, the beautiful Songs of Farewell, by Hubert Parry.

The day starts at 10am and will conclude with a short performance of the day’s music, finishing at 5pm.

It will include plenty of singing and refreshments, plus a short performance of the key choral movements at the end of the day, which is free and open to friends and family to attend.  Absolutely everyone, with any (or no!) choral experience is invited to come and sing.

Tickets are just £10 for the day and are available now from our online box office.

You can watch a video review of our first come and sing workshop on our Vasari TV page held in 2010 which saw nearly 250 singers on the day.

And here are details of our second come and sing workshop back in 2011.
