Concert Details

Vasari continues its own ‘Choral Pilgrimage’ to sing in each one of Britain’s Anglican Cathedrals with a visit to the official Cathedral of Nottingham, the stunning Southwell Minster, on April 17-19.

Service music includes:

A celebration of our own homegrown composers in this, our 40th anniversary year, with Canticles by Daniel Burges, Responses by Matt Wood and an anthem, Love Bade me Welcome, by Julian Washington at Evensong on Friday 17th April at 5.30pm

Other service music includes Howells Gloucester Service and Walton set me as a Seal (Saturday Evensong 5.30pm)

Joseph Jongen Mass and Panis Angelicus (Sunday Eucharist 9.30am)

Tallis O Nata Lux, Weelkes Ninth Service and Gibbons O Clap your hands (Sunday Evensong 3.30pm )


At 1215 on Saturday 18th April a beautiful short recital of German music – FREE ADMISSION (with a retiring collection for the Minster)
