The Vasari Singers’ Album Launch on Thursday 3 July will be quite unlike any other concert we have ever given! Not a concert at all really, more like a gig. The Clapham Grand, directly opposite Clapham Junction station, is the ideal venue for the informal way in which we want to present our new album ‘The Music Never Ends’. From The Beatles to Swingle arrangements, Duke Ellington and Henry Mancini, the Georges Gershwin and Shearing, Michel Legrand alongside John Rutter, our two sets of close harmony songs lend themselves perfectly to The Grand’s distinctive, relaxed atmosphere.

We will be joined by brilliant jazz musicians Gareth Giles on piano and Gareth Huw Davies on bass, who will also entertain with some improvs when the singers are off stage. You can buy tickets for a table for two or four, in true café style, book one of the theatre’s boxes or simply sit in the traditional seating. The bar will be open throughout the gig, serving food and drink. Doors open at 6.30pm, the show starts at 7.30pm and the bar will remain open for an hour afterwards.
