Concert Details

With deep regret and the heaviest of hearts we have decided that this concert cannot safely proceed due to the recent news of the rapid spread and high infectivity of the Covid Omicron variant particularly in London. We are so sorry to have to cancel at such short notice and would like to reassure those who have purchased tickets that you will be refunded by the St Paul’s Covent Garden Box Office. We would like to wish you a happy, safe and healthy Christmas season and we look forward to seeing you at our next live concert as soon as possible.

Join Vasari Singers and Jeremy Backhouse at the Actors’ Church as we celebrate singing a live Christmas concert together for the first time in two years.

This lovely programme includes some familiar and some newer carols all linked by the theme of “What sweeter music”. We include three carols by contemporary women composers, including Vasari’s very own commission from exciting young composer Helena Paish. Adolphe Adam’s wonderful ‘Oh Holy Night’ makes a welcome appearance; hear us as we go a-wassailing, before signing off with Ben Parry’s unique arrangement of ‘Jingle Bells’! Of course there will be plenty of opportunity for you the audience to join in with some festive favourites getting your own Christmas celebrations off to a tuneful start!

This concert always sells out so be sure to get your tickets early.
